das Mães.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT size=3>Há, entretanto, muitos sentimentos envolvidos com as
nossas mães ternas, mães guerreiras ou simplesmente e significativamente
Mãe.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=3><STRONG>Quero homenagea-las com as palavras de três pessoas
que marcaram essa relação mãe-filhos: </STRONG></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=3><STRONG>Primeiro, <U>Olga Benário Prestes</U>,
mãe-revolucionária que foi sacrificada nos crematórios da
Alemanha-nazista e, mesmo sabendo do seu fim próximo não deixou de escrever
</STRONG><STRONG>essa maravilhosa carta a sua filha Anita e ao seu
companheiro Luiz Carlos Prestes.</STRONG></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT size=3>A segundo foi reproduzida dentro do programa Curtas da
Petrobrás. São as <U>cartas do Henfil à sua mãe</U>.É emocionante, carinhoso e
cheio de mensagens.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT size=3>O outro, é um vídeo das <U>mães da praça de maio</U>
sempre em busca de seus filhos desaparecidos pela ditadura. Há um final com um
lindíssimo poema de Mario Benedetti, recitado por ele.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>

dia 10 de maio, todos comemoraremos o "Dia das Mães". <BR>Lembrando a
importante data, quero homenagear todas as mães. Para tanto, <BR>coloco à
disposição, para escuta, a "Ária Anita Livre" de minha ópera Olga. <BR>Essa
ária é cantada por Olga, na prisão de mulheres de Barnmistrasse,
em <BR>Berlin, em 1936, quando a prisioneira dos nazistas recebe a notícia
de que <BR>sua filha Anita, nascida na prisão de Berlim, está em liberdade
sob os <BR>cuidados da avó Leocádia. A pequena Anita fora arrancada dos braços
de Olga <BR>pelos nazistas. Olga Benario não sabia, até então, do paradeiro da
