militares devidamente treinadas na Escola das Américas do Panamá desencadearam o
Golpe Civil-Militar que afundou o país nas trevas do arbítrio durante 21 anos. O
Golpe de Estado ocorreu depois de intensos preparativos e conspirações entre as
classes dominantes e interlocutores norte-americanos, aliando militares às
forças civis que viam no governo legitimo do Presidente João Goulart uma ameaça
a supremacia de seus negócios. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

esquecimento, principalmente entre as gerações mais jovens, sobre as
conseqüências e seqüelas do nefasto golpe, que ainda perduram entre nós. É uma
tendência à omissão e a revisão dos fatos da História promovida junto aos que
não conheceram toda a realidade e extensão deste movimento civil-militar, com a
intenção de que os atos de traição cometidos pelos golpistas não sejam

reprimiu as liberdades durante 21 anos, é ato inaceitável.

Brasil não foi tão violenta como suas parceiras chilena, argentina, uruguaia e
